Examples of compliant web sites, weblogs and content management systems
Below are a few samples of recent work we've done for clients, as well as work currently in progress. Two designs submitted for a style challenge have also been included.
3D Pixel Zone will specialize in products for artists in the 3D Graphics Community. The site is being designed with a CMS, and will include a store and community forum. This is currently a work in progress.
The Charles Evans Music site utilizes the WordPress blogging system customized as a CMS, thereby pushing his Journal off the traditional front page, and gives him the ability to update portions of the site himself.
Shelly Webb is a 3D graphic artist who has just contracted to do cover art images for erotic romance ebook novels. Cover Art by Shelly's Designs is a new subdomain of her main web design site. Shelly created the graphic design, while we are helping her code her first CSS driven design.
The owners of Glitter and Gossip requested an "interim" fresh look for their Blogger hosted blog while their regular designer was unavailable. Glitter and Gossip has since been redesigned by said designer.
Two unique web designs utilizing the same semantic HTML submitted to a Style Me challenge. Six of the entries of the Style Me Challenge were chosen for inclusion in Virginia DeBolt's latest book, Mastering Integrated HTML and CSS.
The owner of Cat Scratch Fever, designed her weblog, which we installed, configured and implemented using the Movable Type blogging system in 2004. We recently migrated her blog from Movable Type to a new version of the WordPress blogging system.
The owner of Fresh Breath of Spring supplied the banner image for this far from traditional looking weblog and asked that we "design around it". This included the installation, configuration and implementation of the Movable Type blogging system.
Although the owner of Miss B's Graphics does graphic and web design herself, she was looking for something more tranditional than her usual eclectic style.
